Skip Bayless ripped into Russell Westbrook after the Los Angeles Lakers’ latest loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves that led them to a 0-5 streak to start the season.

The Los Angeles Laker’s start to the season keeps getting worse with every passing game. While four consecutive losses to begin their season was already their worst-ever start to any season in franchise history, a fifth consecutive loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves made matters worse – as the Lakers went down 111-102 to the Wolves at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

It was a tame performance from the struggling Lakers who never seemed to find their rhythm against the Minnesota outfit, and the Lakers went down to second-half heroics from the Wolves even though the scores were level at halftime. A miserable team effort along with disastrous shooting let the Lakers down, but it was one player who shouldered more of the collective brunt.

Even though no Laker has had a decent start to the season so far, some have been particularly off their best – and one of them is Russell Westbrook. Westbrook’s Laker’s nightmare keeps getting worse, and it was arguably his worst performance of the season as he made only 1 out of 4 three-pointers – ensuring more criticism, and it came as no surprise when Skip Bayless joined in too.

What did Skip Bayless have to say about Russell Westbrook?

Bayless – one of Westbrook’s most infamous detractors–ripped into Russ after his poor performance and called him out for his lack of “shame or regret.”

Tweeting during the game, the NBA analyst ripped into Westbrook for his lack of desire and commitment to the cause. Bayless wrote: “I have never, ever seen a basketball player display so little shame or regret for horrendous turnovers as Russell Westbrook does. Even coming off the bench, he led the Lakers with 5 sadly comical turnovers. Didn’t seem to bother him a bit.”

Further criticism for Westbrook, followed the tweet this time from the rest of the enraged Lakers following – as the Lakers have got on to the worst start to any season in their history.
