Skip Bayless criticises LeBron James harshly while praising Giannis Antetokounmpo’s career-high performance

While praising Giannis Antetokounmpo’s career-high performance in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 123-113 victory over the Washington Wizards, Skip Bayless made a subtle jab at LeBron James. The fact that Antetokounmpo made 15 of 16 free throw attempts, according to Bayless, was the most astounding aspect of his performance.

The statistics were utilised by the Fox Sports TV expert to criticise James’ poor free-throw shooting. Bayless tweeted, “GIANNIS: I am IMPRESSED. 55/10/7 was terrific – though 50+ games seem to happen every night in the NBA. No, what impressed me most was 15-16 free throws. That you should be proud of. There’s a guy in LA …”

When Skip Bayless spoke of a “man in LA,” he was referring to LeBron James. The senior commentator has made James’ poor free-throw shooting one of his primary points of contention in every discussion around his claim to be the greatest player of all time or the best player on any particular night.
