GSW star Stephen Curry had words of praise for the tennis legend Serena Williams after she won her second-round matchup in the US Open.
Steph Curry is one of the NBA’s all-time greats and he recently had some positive words to say for American tennis legend Serena Williams. Serena got called goat by everyone but Steph thinks there is still fuel left in her.
Steph’s tweet came after Serena’s win. In a second-round three-set thriller, pure brilliance from Williams defeated No. 2 seed Anett Kontaveit of Estonia 7-6, 2-6, 6-2.
Steph tweeted, “Not done yet.” as appreciation for Serena. Many stars from across the globe have positive words to say about the female athlete while she was winning games in the US Open.
Steph, one of the best athletes in his game, was able to see Serena’s brilliance and appreciated it soon after the game. Steph and Serena also are good friends and they appeared in commercials together as well.
Serena lost in the third round of the US Open
Notably, the US Open was the last tournament for Serena and she announced her retirement before the start of the tournament.
She defected world number two in the second round of the US Open and later lost in the third round by Ajla Tomljanovic 7-5, 6-7 (4), 6-1. Serena ended her career with a third-round loss but will go down in history as one of the finest stars of the game.
Serena has had a remarkable career and is considered the greatest female tennis star ever. NBA stars like LeBron James, Giannis, and James Harden also had some positive words to say about the great.

Steph curry recently won his ring number four and as the new season approaches, he is all set to win one more as the team is healthy without any major changes.
Exceptional performances from him won him his first Finals MVP this year. Steph and the unit will try to execute one more season perfectly and would aim to cover all his fingers with rings. The greatest shooter of all time is waiting for the new season to arrive.
