Know more about the unexpected record that Steph Curry and Golden State Warriors are about to make.

The consistency of the Golden State Warriors has been very questionable this 2022-23 NBA season. To say the least, the Warriors have been a very confusing team this year.

The pattern of games has been highly unpredictable for last year’s NBA champions. On some nights, the Warriors look invincible and legit championship contenders. On other nights, they look like they need to blow up their roster entirely and start rebuilding immediately.

Funnily enough, both the above cases stand true for the Warriors. They can be champions and they can also be in rebuilding mode but it all depends on where the Warriors are playing, the road or at home.

Golden State Warriors are on their way to making a weird record

As per Sports Radar, the Golden State Warriors are on track for the most unusual home and away record split since the NBA-ABA merger.

It is actually crazy to see the stats on paper when one looks at the Warriors’ record at home and on the road.

While playing at home, the Warriors are 17-4; they look like the best team in the NBA playing at home and also have the best record.

On the other hand, while playing on the road, the Warriors have a poor record of 3-16! GSW’s away record makes them the worst team in the NBA on the road and has the worst record. In short, the Golden State Warriors’ home-away record is literally opposites.

Moreover, these stats aren’t just when Warriors star Steph Curry was playing in some games and he wasn’t in others either. The given record includes both when Curry was hurt, and when he was playing.

Surprisingly, either Curry plays or not, GSW’s record at home is far superior when compared to its record on the road.

For some playoff teams, regular season statistics may not truly matter. The Warriors, on the other hand, will truly need a home-court advantage if they qualify for the play-in tournament.
