Famous Sports Analyst Colin Cowherd gave his insight on why he thinks Draymond Green should be paid well by the Warriors.
Recently, reports emerged that Golden State Warriors star player Draymond Green was looking for a max deal from the franchise. Apparently, the franchise doesn’t want to offer him that deal, which is why Green might seek an exit.
Draymond Green has been with the Warriors since the start of his career in the NBA and has won four championships with them. He, along with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, is the core of this team.
Famous Sports Analyst Colin Cowherd gave his insight on why he thinks Draymond Green should be paid well by the Warriors. Cowherd is also pretty close to Green and knows a thing or two about him as well.
Colin Cowherd said, “Steph loves Draymond, catalyst offensively, best playoff net rating, best defense in the league which he spearheads. I don’t know feels like he’s worth a lot of money to me and wildly popular among fans.”
Draymond Green is a very important player for the Golden State Warriors
The offense of the Golden State Warriors is pretty special. However, the player that makes it tick is Draymond Green. He does all the dirty work for the team, which helps Klay and Curry.
Moreover, he is their defensive anchor, and without him, this team will fall apart. Green is the vocal leader of the team, and he gets the team going. The Warriors would not want to lose him, which is why they might be tempted to offer him a max deal.
