Stephen A Smith reacted to the act of Will Smith at the Oscars
The Oscars 2022 had a moment that will be remembered for years to come as Will Smith, the popular actor slapped Chris Rock in front of everyone watching.
The world was shocked by Will Smith’s actions, as nobody expected him to do such an act as he is not seen as a violent person. People were quick to pounce on the situation to give their views regarding the matter.
Some people supported Will’s actions as you cannot joke about someone’s family in front of everyone while others wanted strict action to be taken against Will because it was a type of assault that has no place in the entertainment industry.
Famous athletes and journalists also gave their views regarding this matter and Stephen A Smith who is one of the most famous journalists currently was not happy with Will Smith’s actions as he said, “I just saw the RAW footage. @willsmith should be ashamed of his damn self. It was a G.I. Jane joke. Total B.S. If it were @TheRock or someone like that instead of @chrisrock would he have done that shit!”
Stephen A Smith further talked about Will Smith and said, “If @willsmith seriously did that — and he wins the OSCAR — he just stained the greatest moment of his career. You cannot do that S$&@!! Especially as a BLACK MAN, in that position, to ANOTHER BLACK MAN(@chrisrock) on THAT STAGE. If this was not a joke, Will won’t live this down!!!”
It was fairly clear that Stephen A was very upset with the actions of Will Smith and was not looking for any explanations on why he did that as it is totally unacceptable for him to slap him in front of everyone.
These actions by Will can play a huge impact on other people as many people and kids look up to him because of his accolades in the entertainment industry where he has been at the top for many years.
