Stephen Curry made a total mockery of Tyler Herro’s ankles as he nailed down a three pointers in the Golden State Warriors’ latest game against the Miami Heat. The defending champions went up against the Heat at the Chase Center in San Francisco, and it was the Steph Curry show once again as the Warriors returned to winning ways and won their third game of the season.
The Golden State Warriors have been a little on and off with their consistency this season, losing a couple of games against the Denver Nuggets and the rebuilding Phoenix Suns–but the Dubs looked right back on their best game against the Heat as they emerged 123-110 winners. Even though it was a complete team performance, it was Stephen Curry who took most of the headlines.
The four time NBA champion and reigning Finals’ MVP was at his ankle breaking best as he went up against Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro, and more often than not – the former humiliated the latter on the floor. One of the many instances where Herro emerged second best against Curry was from the clip of Curry “breaking” Herro’s ankles that went viral following the game.
The viral clip from the game featured Curry going up against Herro and making a mockery of the Miami Heat guard.
It was in the fourth quarter of the game with five minutes to go and with the shot clock running down, that the score read 105-100 in favour of the Warriors and the game being right in the balance. The Warriors were looking for a moment of inspiration to keep hold of their lead, and it was their talismanic leader who came up with the goods at the right time as he always has done.
Going up against Herro on the edge of the arc, Curry feinted left and feinted right in front of a clueless Herro who was planted on the floor unable to do anything by the time Curry cleared some room for himself and got his trademark three pointer away. The moment went viral immediately following the game and showcased Curry’s dominance outside the arc yet again.
