Steve Kerr had a virtuous response to the reporter upon being questioned about coaching players like Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

Steve Kerr was appointed as Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors in the 2014 season. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green were all part of the roster when he started his coaching career. He brought in Kevin Durant in the 2016-2017 season, knowing that the fans would not appreciate his arrival.

Steve Kerr has achieved greatness when it comes to NBA titles, he won 5 NBA Championships as a player and 4 NBA Championships as a coach with Golden State Warriors. He coached players like Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry together, two who are considered to be remembered years after their retirement.

Steve Kerr replied to the reporter, “Sometimes you need to stop and appreciate what you’re seeing, because you’re looking at a couple of the greatest players of all time.” Golden State Warriors when on to lift the NBA Championship trophy in the first season when Steph and Durant in the roster.

The Warriors’ defence allowed Brooklyn to shoot 64.3 percent from the field. Steve Kerr reflected the loss towards the injuries faced by his roster. Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are out, alongside Andrew Wiggins.

Steve Kerr expressed his gratitude towards his former Finals MVP. The last time Kerr managed Durant as a coach, he was suffering an Achilles injury. “Happy for him. Happy he’s healthy and playing well, I’m happy for your team. This league is weird. There are teams up and down and the only thing you don’t wish on anyone is injuries. And it’s best for all of us when the players are healthy and capable.”
