Shannon Sharpe didn’t shy away from speaking what he felt is the truth on the whole Kevin Durant situation at Brooklyn.

No team has come close to acquiring Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets. Due to it, the moves in the offseason have been very less. Once KD gets moved to the team that can afford him, we can see many moves happening also.

Recently, the New Orleans Pelicans claimed that they won’t include Brandon Ingram in a trade package for Kevin Durant. Shannon Sharpe gave his honest views on the situation regarding KD following the Pelicans revelation.

Shannon Sharpe said, “I Don’t Believe Kevin Durant Zion Williamson Make Them a Champion Excuse Me a Championship Contending Team and I Believe a Large Part of This Is That Teams Don’t Trust Kevin Durant Had a Great Situation in Golden State He Didn’t Want to Be There He Wanted to Go Build His Team He Had a Situation That He Helped Build and Create and Foster…”

He added, “I Was Reading Reports and I Skipped I Don’t Know if This Is True That One of the Reasons That They Wanted to Go to Brooklyn Is That They Felt They Can Get More Control Than They Would at Mix r With Dolan So They Went to Brooklyn and They Had Their Weight Had Access Beyond Access Family Members Friends Whatever Had the Access Kevin Durant Gave Him Whatever He Wanted Man It’s Hard to Repair Trust Once It’ Broken”

Shannon Sharpe further said, “The Teams Are Saying Okay We Give Up a Young Uh Brandon Ingram Can’t Be No More Than 25 if He’s That I’m Saying He’s 25. If I Give Up B.I 25 Year Old Got Him Under Contract for Another Year or Two Uh He I’m Sure He’s Going He’s in Line to Get a Max Contract and You Should Get That Some of These Young Assets”

Shannon Sharpe like other league executives is in a firm belief that giving your young all-star player for Kevin Durant isn’t a wise move. This is due to the lack of loyalty that KD has shown to some franchises over the years.
