NBA player Thaddeus Young reacted to a video of Derwin James’ WWE move in an NFL game against the Kansas City Chiefs. James was defending when he picked up and body slam the opposing player who had the ball. Thaddeus Young reacted to the video on Twitter and captioned his tweet saying, My goodness and also added an emoji that conveyed his shock at the play. The Derwin James WWE defense really worked and helped in keeping the opposing team from scoring a touchdown.
James seemed like he was auditioning for the WWE and pulled out his best move. Despite James’ great defensive play, his team the Los Angeles Chargers ended up losing to the Kansas City Chiefs with a score of 24-27.
How many NBA players have wrestled at WWE events?
Over the years, several NBA players have made appearances at WWE events. This includes sitting ringside as special guests or commentators, as well as in-ring appearances for promos and actual WWE matches.
