“That’s my guy”: LeBron James sides with Shannon Sharpe after getting into heated altercation with Grizzlies players

LeBron James has found the constant support of NFL Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest Tight End of his time, Shannon Sharpe whenever the Lakers are playing at home on the most recent occasions. While the former star is chasing on the verge of breaking the all-time scoring record, Sharpe is happy to be the lucky charm for the King.

However, as Sharpe turned out to support LeBron James and his Lakers against the Memphis Grizzlies, he got involved in a lot of smoke as he got himself involved in a heated exchange with Dillion brooks, Steve Adams, Ja Morant and even Tee Morant.

Shannon has never been a fan of the Grizzlies’ young squad’s verbal banters off the court and his latest appearance at Crypto.com Arena added to that immensely.

While the NFL legend has bold words for plenty of players in the NBA, he has nothing but respect and admiration for the 38-year-old arguable GOAT, LeBron James. When asked about the incident on the court after the Lakers won, the four-time NBA Champion and MVP left no doubt in the minds of those that might wonder if he likes Shannon Sharpe or not.

James said, I ride with Shannon 365 days — 366 on a leap year — 24/7. So that’s my guy. I always got his back. And he’s got mine. He can talk with the best of them, for sure.”
