LeBron James has a chance to win another championship but only if a former teammate joins him at the Los Angeles Lakers, according to sports analyst Jalen Rose.

King James, who signed a two-year extension at the Los Angeles outfit this summer has had a celebrated career with numerous accolades including four NBA Championship titles.

However, he would love to bow out in style with a fifth title and it would only be possible if the Lakers bring in a star player of the highest calibre according to Jalen Rose.

According to Rose, LeBron signed a $97m two-year deal with the Lakers because he needed to invest in the Lakers to go for one last push for the Championship.

The ESPN analyst commented that if the Lakers keep Anthony Davis fit, then they only have to bring in another piece of the puzzle to build a championship-worthy team for LeBron’s last hurrah.

WHO IS THE MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE?

According to Rose, the missing piece of the puzzle has to be Kyrie Irving.

Rose firstly came clean that the missing piece of the puzzle to compliment James and Davis should be someone in this year’s All-Star game a current star and not someone who was playing in the All-Star game three years ago.

Then, the former NBA player narrowed down the list of potential targets, as he named Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving to join James and Davis at the Lakers.

Irving, who previously played with LeBron at the Cleveland Cavaliers, fits all the prerequisites of the missing piece that Rose is talking about – a dynamic player who can play off of James as well as Davis, and already has some pre-existing chemistry with the King.

A trio of James, Davis and Irving sounds like a scary prospect for the rest of the league as it combines strength with accuracy and efficiency and may well help LeBron finish his career with a fifth Championship ring.
