Nike and PlayStation have recently collaborated on the new Paul George PlayStation shoes and here’s a look what the fans are saying about it

Nike and PlayStation have collaborated to release Pal George’s new PlayStation inspired PG 5 colorway. The Paul George PlayStation shoes were released in specific regions in May earlier this year. George brought two of his favorite brands together in his latest creative project. Fans have reacted positively to the new colorway with one fan saying that it would end Xbox’s career.

In a blogpost on the PlayStation blog, George explained the idea behind the new design for his PG 5 shoes.

“Just like the PlayStation 5 console, the PG 5 is my platform to take my game to the next level, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring these two elements together in this new partnership with PlayStation. Nike and PlayStation designers, including Yujin Morisawa – the artist behind the PS5 console’s design – worked closely together to bring the spirit of my game and the look of PS5 to life in this unique collaboration.”

Has Paul George released PlayStation inspired shoes before?

Yes, Paul George released 2 official PlayStation colorways before releasing the PlayStation PG 5’s. He released his first official PlayStation colorway for the PG 2’s in January 2018 to roaring success. In November that year he released a PlayStation colorway for the PG 2.5’s to build on the success he had with the PG 2’s.
