“He’s ALL-NBA, 2 time All Star starter, 2 games from playing in the NBA Finals” – Trae Young’s father goes wild on Twitter over son’s comparisons with other players

Trae Young is one of the top young players in the NBA at the moment and has built up a career for himself that most players in his age group would be envious of – something his father made sure to remind his detractors.

The Atlanta Hawks superstar’s father Ray Young took to Twitter to remind his son’s critics of what his son has achieved in his short NBA career already 23-year-old– and in all honestly, it seems plenty of other accolades are still on the way for the 23 year old who has his whole career ahead of him.

It was yet another day in the NBA off season on Twitter when Trae Young was being compared to other point guards in the league, and while some people suggested that the likes of Luka Doncic, Damien Lillard, Ja Morant and Lamelo Ball were better – Young’s father begged to differ as he went on a wild rant.

The relentless comparisons to other point guards in the league clearly seemed to bother Ray Young as he came up with a rant explaining his son’s accolades in his young career.

What did Ray Young have to say about his son?

Ray Young took to Twitter to launch a full-blown attack on his son’s detractors.

Young came up with a rant on Twitter urging people to stop comparing other point guards in the league to his son because his son has already racked up several accolades in his young career – he added that there are only a handful of point guards that match up to Young’s resume already.

Young tweeted: “Stop comparing my son to other guards in the @NBA At this point he’s ALL-NBA, 2 time All Star starter, 2 games from playing in the NBA Finals….There’s barely more than a handful of guards that have his resume! It’s levels to this.”

The ever-growing list of accolades in Young’s career does not look like stopping soon, as he is yet to approach the prime years of his career.
