It is rumored that New York Knicks are ready to move Julius Randle, which makes Twitteraties go crazy

New York Knicks were looking at the finished product after years of a rebuilding process. They found good support for their star forward Julius Randle. A playmaker in Kemba Walker and scorer in Evan Fournier were considered as final pieces of their franchise.

But things didn’t work out as expected and the team could just manage 11th place in the Eastern Conference. With very little time to trade deadline, the Knicks are rumored to trade Julius Randle for a more effective player or a couple of efficient shooters.

This certainly created huge buzz in the market and many gave their reaction on Twitter,

Is Julius Randle Trade possible?

Randle spent 2 full seasons with the rebuilding Knicks and was their “go-to” player in the offense. He led them to the 2021 postseason, but couldn’t clear the 1st round series. This called for additional help and a possible shuffle in the roster to make a deep run in the playoffs.

NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 11: Julius Randle #30 of the New York Knicks in action against the Toronto Raptors during a game at Madison Square Garden on April 11, 2021 in New York City. The Knicks defeated the Raptors 102-96.

New acquisitions and signings made a good early impact on the results but the team couldn’t give consistent results later in the season. Randle’s productivity dropped from 24 points (last season) to 19 points per game. Also, his recent feud with the supporters hampered his franchise image in the league.
