Tyler Herro posted a hilarious tweet after signing his new contract with the Miami Heat worth $130 million
Tyler Herro has recently signed a new contract and the Miami Heat Guard was in a good mood. Herro shared a hilarious tweet after signing his new contract. The tweet seemed to refer to his current situation. The Miami Heat signed Herro to a 4-year 130 million dollar contract with 120 million guaranteed and 10 million dollars in incentives.
Herro shared a GIF that shows Bugs Bunny counting stacks of cash. The GIF seems to be Herro’s way of saying that he’s got a stack of cash with his new contract. This new Tyler Herro Heat contract is a good thing for everyone involved. The Heat kept their second best scoring player and Herro got to stay in a good basketball situation.
With Tyler Herro’s Heat contract Miami Heat’s core have been locked down for the future. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry are all under contract for at least the next two seasons.
During his three years in the NBA, Tyler Herro has improved year-on-year. Herro made the jump from young prospect to young star last season. Herro averaged 20.7 points per game along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game during the 2021-22 NBA season.
This obviously made the Miami Heat more confident in giving Herro the extension. In addition to this, Herro also played a huge part in the Miami Heat’s trip to the NBA Finals during the 2020 NBA playoffs.
To conclude, I believe that Tyler Herro deserved the contract but has to continue improving. His play during the upcoming NBA season and the playoffs will be crucial. In last season’s playoffs Herro fumbled a little and this year will be a huge one for him.
