Tyrese Haliburton’s emergence into the Indiana Pacers’ roster has completely hanged the fortune for the franchise. Having exceeded expectations to date, the Pacers look like a legitimate contender to make a deep playoff run. While Haliburton has been unselfish, worked around his teammates, and been the most elite playmaker in his team. An injury woe is haunting the concerned player now.
There have been multiple franchise stars who have been ruled out of injury for a brief period of time in the 2022-23 season, and it looks like Tyrese Haliburton could potentially join the queue. Moreover, an injury scare can even put Tyrese’s first MVP candidature at big risk.
Talking about what happened – Indiana Pacers were down by 16 points in the third quarter when Pacers substituted Chris Duarte in for Tyrese Haliburton. While many thought the team has given a valid rest to their Point Guard, Haliburton was eventually ruled out for the rest of the game due to knee soreness as per Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily news.
This was the first time Tyrese Haliburton had played against the New York Knicks since Wally Szczerbiak called him a ‘wannabe All-Star’ on Live Broadcast. He finished the night with 15 points.
While there have been no updates on Tyrese’s injury as of now, the issue continues to have major developments as we write. That being said, since the departure of their starting Point Guard, the Pacers have given a mighty scare to the Knicks. Will there be an epi comeback? Remains to be seen.
