Victor Oladipo has been sidelined for a long time due to a knee injury
Victor Oladipo who has been out for a long time due to a knee injury will be making his season debut on Monday, as the Miami Heat will face the Houston Rockets.
Oladipo underwent surgery on his quad tendon last May and has not played this season yet.
Oladipo’s season debut will be against his former team as he played for the Rockets last season before he was traded to the Miami Heat, as he didn’t want to play for the Rockets.
Victor Oladipo talked about his comeback and said, “It feels good to be able to play the game I love.”
The Miami Heat are currently the 1st seed in the East and are regarded as one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship.
With the addition of Victor Oladipo, they’ll get even better and they could really go on a big playoff run.
Talking further about his comeback, Oladipo continued, “You go through stuff in life, and you have to battle. I’ve gone through this twice, so I know how to prep mentally. But each time is new, and those challenges arise, and you have to adapt. It is a whirlwind of emotions. As a competitor, you want to play a certain way but it’s about winning the small battles and I won that today. I am just thankful to keep building.”
Everyone knows the quality that Oladipo brings to the table and if he stays fit then the Miami Heat can really cause some damage in the playoffs.
