Carmelo Anthony was seen training with his 15-year-old son Kiyan Anthony in Las Vegas recently.
Carmelo Anthony, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season is currently a free agent. He still is working hard on his game and isn’t looking to retire as of now.
Melo was recently spotted working out with his 15-year-old son Kiyan Anthony. Throughout the offseason, Carmelo Anthony is helping out his son and preparing him for the NBA.
However, Unlike his good friend LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony has no plans to play alongside his son in the future in the NBA.
It will still take Kiyan at least 4 years more to be in the NBA, and by then it’s very likely that Carmelo Anthony will announce his retirement from the beautiful game that he cherished forever.
Carmelo Anthony played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season and was with the Portland Trail Blazers before that. Even though last season the Lakers played quite poorly, Melo was quite effective on the offensive end for them.
It seems unlikely that he will return to the Lakers, as the team is looking to surround the team with young guys, but many other teams in the league might be interested in getting Carmelo Anthony. He could be a valuable option from the bench who could give you double-digit points every night he suits up.
