A group of fans asked Dwyane Wade to bring Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell to Miami amid trade rumors around the young guard.

Recent reports emerged about the Utah Jazz looking at options to trade their star player Donovan Mitchell. A few weeks ago the Jazz traded away Rudy Gobert, and many saw the departure of Mitchell also coming.

Dwyane Wade, who is a Miami Heat legend, and is now also the part-owner of the Utah Jazz was present in the summer league. Donovan Mitchell has often been compared to Dwayne Wade because of the similarities in both of their games.

The fans present there asked Dwyane Wade will he bring Mitchell to Miami. The Heat legend Dwayne Wade responded with a “yeah”. It was enough to rile up the hopes of Miami fans who are desperate to get another player on their team who is a star and can score whenever he wants. Donovan Mitchell certainly is that guy, and he’ll fit well in their system.

Miami Heat are looking to land either Donovan Mitchell or Kevin Durant

Miami is in desperate need of another star player to pair up with Jimmy Butler. Last season they went to the ECF, but a lack of scoring options hurt their chances.

As a result, it’s very likely that Miami will look to land either Donovan Mitchell or Kevin Durant via trade. If one of them ends up in Miami, then the Miami Heat will be a top contender to win the NBA Championship next season.
