The Brooklyn Nets Instagram account recently released a video of ongoing team practice. In the video, you can see the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons, and they look good. This Kevin Durant Nets team might shock some people this season. The video focuses on three highlights from what looks like a practice game. The first highlight focuses on Ben Simmons backing down a defender before going for a beautifully executed post fadeaway shot.
The second highlight shows Kevin Durant coming down the court on a fast break and he finishes with a thunderous dunk. In the final play of the video, you see Kyrie Irving dribbling the ball. He penetrates before making a well-timed bounce pass to Nicolas Claxton who finishes with a dunk.
The Net’s big three of Durant, Irving and Simmons look to be in great shape. This Kevin Durant nets team is looking to dominate the Eastern Conference and maybe even contend for the NBA Championship. Fans will be relieved to finally see Simmons on a basketball court and looking fit to start the season.
The Brooklyn Nets are currently undergoing their training camp before the start of preseason games. Their first preseason game is against the Philadelphia 76ers on the 5th of October. It’ll be interesting to see Ben Simmons on the court against his former team.
The Nets play their last preseason game on the 15th of October before suiting up for their first game of the 2022-23 NBA season on the 20th of October. They play the New Orleans Pelicans in what will be an interesting opening game of the season.
