Pascal Siakam has been leading the Toronto Raptors exceptionally well. With the 2019 NBA Champions being on the right track, it seems like the environment inside the dugout and locker room is great as well. The latest to justify this claim was Siakam brutally dissing rookie Christian Koloko during a press conference.
There are some rules of hierarchy that are unsaid in the NBA yet are followed by everyone. So, after a practice session when Koloko was talking to the media, he skipped the line be it intentional or otherwise. The young rookie spoke much before to the reports than Pascal Siakam, who was not letting go of the former Toronto Raptors star easily when he got his chance.
“I mean, there’s a lot more things that happened (to me),” Siakam said when asked if he experienced a similar type of initiation during his rookie year as per ClutchPoints. “I think the rookies have it easy. I think Christian, doesn’t get to do anything, really, but maybe just get cars or something. He doesn’t do anything.”

Siakam said, “No popcorn or anything. We had to do everything. He didn’t do anything. Even carrying the bags — nothing.”
The 22-year-old Christian Koloko was literally already fielding questions from reporters when veteran Pascal Siakam decided to yank him from the media session. Safe to say, the innocent rookie had no other choice but to concede his spot to his veteran teammate, Pascal Siakam, as Koloko sat in the corner while waiting for his turn.
