Once again Robert Williams III, who has just featured in 15 games for the best side in the NBA in the 2022-23 season, was ruled out of a contest midway due to an injury. This time it was due to a scary blow to his surgically repaired knee.

This wasn’t any other who made Williams to be forced off the NBA hardwood but his won teammate. Jaylen Brown fell on Williams’ left knee after a bit of a scramble. Sadly, it was the same knee that Williams has had two procedures on previously. After being in pain, Robert was helped out off the court, exiting the game against Toronto Raptors.

Being ruled out the entirety of the remaining game, the spoken-off 6-foot-9 center will get some tests done on the knee, and the results of the same should determine the extent of the injury. It’s officially being diagnosed as a hyperextended knee, so Boston Celtics fans will definitely be hoping for the best here.

This is a huge blow for the Celtics, who already have Jayson Tatum sitting this game out due to a sore left wrist. Will Jaylen Brown be able to register a hard-fought win for the shorthanded Cs? Remains to be seen.
