Published by

Stephen Curry is again in the headlines as he scored 46 points against the Grizzlies in a 113-104 win. This would be Curry’s 5th 40+ point game this season.

Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry are on a Championship mission this season, routing their opponents on the way. The Warriors hosted Memphis Grizzlies on 23rd Dec night and made amends for the early season loss with a 113-104 win. Stephen Curry scored game-high 46 points in the win.

The matchup between the two teams was exciting as the Grizzlies had won against the Warriors in October. Ja Morant was in great form early this season and was a possible contender for Western Conference Player of October. But he was kept quiet by the Warriors defense in this particular match, restricting him to 21 points.

Steph Curry who scored 36 in their last meeting went on to pour more baskets last night and scored 46 points. Curry scored 8 3-pointers in the match and was shooting at 59% from the field. Garry Payton II added 22 points for the Warriors, while all other team members couldn’t cross the double-digit in scoring.

Ja Morant (21 points) was well supported by Jaren Jackson and Melton with 20 points each, but the Grizzlies couldn’t get the win against the Warriors.

Stephen Curry is in red hot Scoring form

Golden State Warriors has a 26-6 record this season and only half a game behind the Sun in the NBA. One of the reasons for The Warriors surge from last season is Stephen Curry’s hot shooting. Curry has been the main offensive weapon for the team for over a decade now, but this year Curry has reached a different level altogether.
