Kyrie Irving’s vaccination status is a major cause of concern for Brooklyn Nets and his fans. As the COVID-19 vaccination compulsion was growing back in the 2021 season, Kyrie was adamant about his stand.

Kyrie Irving missed the start of 2021-22 season after refusing to get the COVID vaccine. He had to miss out on many games in Brooklyn’s home stadium due to New York City’s vaccination mandate. According to Irving, he was going through a battle with himself after the ankle injury.

Despite all the mandates, Kyrie Irving has still not taken the COVID vaccination. The 2016 NBA Champion said, “I know the consequences here, and if it means that I’m judged and demonized for that, that’s just what it is, that’s the role I play, but I never wanted to give up my passion, my love, my dream just over this mandate.”

Even Kevin Durant wanted his partner to drop all vaccination concerns and play for the team. He referred to his mate as a special player and wished for him to join the team. Durant added, “But a lot of stuff is out of our control and we will let him figure that out for himself.”

What is the Kyrie Irving vision on the COVID-19 vaccination?

“This is not even a conspiracy theory. The Earth is flat. The Earth is flat,” Kyrie Irving said in the Road Trippin’ with RJ & Channing, in 2017 that the Earth is not round. “I’m telling you, it’s right in front of our faces.”
