What is the current status of Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden?
James Harden has had quite a solid career in the NBA from a broader spectrum. The current Philadelphia 76ers superstar made a name for himself as one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA at the moment, and even though he has never won the NBA Championship – the former MVP has had a reputation for being one of the toughest forwards.
Harden has had a solid career that has seen him establish his name as one of the deadliest forwards in the NBA because of his shooting and his dribbling ability – which can leave any guard in the dust at a particular point in time. However, over the past couple of years, Harden’s stocks have not been where they were – because of an unfortunate injury-reddened couple of seasons.
Ever since joining the Brooklyn Nets in 2021, Harden has struggled with niggling injuries. The forward suffered 12 different injuries through the course of the 2021/22 season, experiencing problems with his ankle, thigh, hamstring, and neck. However, Harden put in the hours in the gym this off-season, and returned to action for his first full season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Even though Harden started off the season in fine form and looked much more like the deadly forward that we know him to be, another unfortunate injury setback has meant that Harden finds himself on the sidelines yet again courtesy of a right foot tendon strain.
When will James Harden be back from his latest injury setback?
It turns out that even though there is no exact expected date of the return for the Sixers star, he is likely to miss a month of action.
However, there is good news for his fans as his recovery has been revealed to be going at the right pace. Sixers head coach Doc Rivers spoke earlier this month about how they are not forcing a timeline on Harden’s return, and instead, letting the star take his time to get back to full fitness.
It might not be too long before we see the Beard back on the court – and try and help the Philadelphia 76ers qualify for the Playoffs this season.
