The halftime event in the game between Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets highlighted a drag show celebrating Pride Nights at the Fiserv Forum.

The fans who bought the ticket for the game received a Bucks pride scars and beanie to show off at halftime. This did not bode well with all the fans as some were concerns with the presence of children in the Forum. The fans who were swinging their scarves and dawning their beanie were highlighted on the big screen.

Fiserv Forum announced on Tuesday that they have joined hands with Safe Place initiative. “The power of sport can bring everyone together. It doesn’t matter your gender. Doesn’t matter your ethnicity. It doesn’t matter your political views, and it definitely doesn’t matter your sexual identity,” Bucks guard Pat Connaughton spread the word in a video posted before the game.”

The Milwaukee Police Department marked a place as “safe space for underrepresented members of our community, including the LGBTQIA+ community to call police for assistance.”

Why were the parents in the Milwaukee district upset with Fiserv Forum’s halftime show?

Dan O’Donnell, host of a Milwaukee talk station tweeted the concerns of the parents. He revealed that the parents of Brookfield Central and Wisconsin Hills Middle School band students are expressing concern after Milwaukee Bucks hosted the halftime ‘Pride Night’ drag show.

Milwaukee Bucks went on to win the game 107-99 against the Denver Nuggets. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 33 points with 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Denver’s main man Nikola Jokic was out of the line-up as he was recovering from his tight left hamstring.
