Who did Giannis dress up as during his recent trick or treat session on Halloween?
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the NBA at the moment. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar is nicknamed the “Greek Freak” because of his freakish profile that combines size, speed and strength into a fearsome package – but while he is known for his talent and his physicality on the basketball court, he is known for his brilliant sense of humor off the court.
Giannis gave another instance of his brilliant sense of humor during his latest Halloween appearance when he dressed up as the character Rubble from “Paw Patrol.” While most of his NBA peers chose to dress up as characters from the horror genre or otherwise, Giannis chose to dress up as a cartoon character as he went trick-or-treating in and around Milwaukee.
Karley Marotta, the sports director at WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin (ABC), caught Giannis (along with his brother and teammate Thanasis Antetokounmpo and teammate George Hill) out and about during trick-or-treating, with Giannis adorned as the character Rubble from “Paw Patrol.” The Greek Freak wasn’t shy about taking pictures with kids on the lookout for candy.
Only a night earlier, Giannis put on an outstanding performance against the Atlanta Hawks as he helped the Bucks secure a 123-115 victory with a 34-point performance. In fact, Giannis has been in incredible form this season – and has made the Bucks one of the early contenders for the title this season.
How has Giannis fared this season for the Bucks?
Giannis has been incredible for the Milwaukee Bucks this season, helping his team to a 7-0 start to their season. The Greek Freak has averaged 33.57 points, 12.71 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.71 blocks and 1.14 steals per game, helping his team to their seventh successive win.
The Bucks will hope that their talisman keeps performing at the top of his game, and help them keep up their form as they look like one of the early contenders for the title this season.
