In an extremely funny interview with Kevin Durant last year David Letterman asked him why people call Kevin Durant KD. The question is a funny one since it’s quite obvious that the nickname KD refers to Durant’s initials. Durant seemed to be slightly caught off guard by the question and took a few seconds to think before answering.
