Without the 2022 Finals MVP Stephen Curry, Warriors are down in slumps. None of the players on the roster has been able to take responsibility and drive a victory home.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins are all out of the line-up due to injuries. The Warriors are standing with a record of 15-18 in the 11th position of the Western Conference. They have won only one game since their star Steph was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. TV Analyst Nick Wright poured heat onto the team.
“The Warriors are a bad team, without Steph Curry, they are a really bad team,” said the TV Analyst Nick Wright. He added, “With Steph Curry, they were a mediocre team, and it wasn’t a small sample. I think you have to open your eyes to the possibility that they are going to miss the Play-In. Right Now, this team is in real trouble”
Nick Wright even took a hit at 2017 Defensive Player of the Year, Draymond Green. He added, “Last night they played Draymond and it felt like it was a punishment. There is no Steph, there is no Klay, there is no Wiggins. But they are like Draymond ‘You gotta be out there and Kevin Duran is going to be smiling every possession of the game’”
Will Steph Curry’s Warriors be able to make the Play-In despite current downfall?
The Brooklyn Nets recorded their best first half against the Golden State Warriors in their 143-113 victory. Nets scored 91 points crushing the defensive line-up put against Kevin Durant. They have finished their 6 games road trip to the Eastern Conference with a 1-5 losing record.
Curry commented on his shoulder injury as an injury he has never seen before. This update has shocked the fans and the team is now expected to find the base of Western Conference.
Steph Curry said, “This is an interesting one just because I haven’t had an injury like this to the shoulder. So, it’s kind of a wait-and-see approach, I’m still in the early healing process, so I’m nowhere near, even like, picking up a basketball yet… It’ll be a few weeks.”
