The legendary head coach Gregg Popovich finally has broken the record for the most wins as a coach in NBA History. He surpassed Don Nelson as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz
Gregg Popovich has been instrumental for the Spurs dynasty as he was the driving force behind all those championships.
He has coached very good players during his tenure at the San Antonio Spurs such as Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobli, Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker, etc.
Popovich has won 5 NBA Championships so far and with this record win against the Utah Jazz, his regular-season win count has now reached a number of 1336 wins, which is more than some franchises’ total wins in the regular season.
