Zach Lavine joins Stephen Curry after a spectacular 3-point shooting display

After undergoing knee surgery in the summer, Zach Lavine hasn’t been having the best of seasons, but Friday night against the 76ers, he put on an incredible 3-point display that landed him on an exclusive list with Steph Curry.

Lavine and the Bulls have broadly had an odd season. Although the Bulls were winning a lot of games and making the playoffs last season, the perception was that they weren’t really a danger since they couldn’t knock off the top teams. In their encounters with the top 4-5 teams in the Eastern Conference, the Bulls had a consistent losing record.

The Bulls have a combined 9-2 record against the 76ers, Nets, Celtics, Bucks, and Heat. Unfortunately, they have had trouble winning crucial games like they did last year, and they are also losing to opponents they ought to have defeated. However, the Bulls still have a chance to put together a chase and finish the season victoriously to return to the playoffs.

Zach Lavine’s 3-point shooting night

The Chicago Bulls are having great faith in Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan. Lavine was offered a long-term deal this offseason, and regardless of the fact that he is still recovering from surgery, he is already demonstrating his potential to be one of the league’s top scorers.

Lavine scored 41 points last night against the 76ers, and he did so with great efficiency. He opened the night by making 8 consecutive threes. He eventually made 11 out of 13 three-point attempts. That score is significant because it places him among the best shooters in NBA history.

Over the past two years, Lavine has been among the league’s top shooters. His shooting splits have regularly been 50/40/80 when he finishes, and yesterday’s game was just a reminder of his potential.
