The Kendrick Perkins showered immense praise on Giannis Antetokounmpo after the Milwaukee Bucks’ latest win over the New York Knicks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was at his best yet again as he helped the Milwaukee Bucks register their latest win over the New York Knicks. The Greek Freak came up with yet another key display to add to his string of performances this season as he racked up 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists to help the Bucks to a 119-108 win for their fourth straight win of the season.
It was the Giannis Antetokounmpo show yet again at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, as the Greek-Nigerian superstar stood head and shoulders above every teammate and opponent – leading his team to yet another inspirational win to stretch their streak to 4-0 this season. Even despite the lack of another genuine “superstar” alongside him, the Bucks keep on winning.
Giannis’ impact on his team and every game he plays is reminiscent of another superstar dragging his team to success with every passing game – it is reminiscent of LeBron James’ 2016 NBA Championship run with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kendrick Perkins thinks the same as he showered high praise on the Greek Freak following the Bucks’ latest win.
The former NBA professional and current analyst praised Giannis for his inspirational display, and compared him to the Cavaliers’ LeBron James.
Writing on his official Twitter account following the Bucks’ win over the Knicks, Perkins wrote: “Giannis is really starting to give me those Cavs Lebron vibes!!! The way he’s making plays for others is why I keep saying He’s THE BEST Player in the NBA. Carry on…”
Perkins has a point, as Giannis is really making it a habit to regularly inspire his teammates–by finding the bucket himself and helping the rest of his teammates find the bucket regularly enough to secure wins. The Bucks’ 4-0 start to the season certainly puts them in a position of momentum to secure their second NBA Championship in three years.
