The Boston Celtics have looked like the best team in the league since the start of 2022, as their solid defense along with explosive offense has caused havoc on almost every team in this league.

Last year the Celtics missed their key players due to injuries in the 1st round of the playoffs, which led to their early exit at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets, but this season they are much more healthy and are by far a way better team than last year, which will give confidence to them ahead of this tough matchup.

The Brooklyn Nets didn’t have a healthy squad over the course of the season, which is why they had to win the game in the play-in tournament to make it to the playoffs but things are now looking positive for them as almost everyone is healthy.

Ben Simmons is expected to make his debut against the Celtics, which will be a huge boost for them as he will provide that excellent playmaking along with his defense which is one of the best in the world. The Nets will be under the pressure to win the series and they might very well do it as KD & Kyrie along with Ben Simmons will be absolutely unstoppable.

Prediction:

  • Brooklyn Nets to win the series and progress to the 2nd round of the playoffs.
