Philadelphia 76ers suffered a massive blow as star player James Harden is set to miss a significant time due to injury.
James Harden, the star guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, has gotten off to a strong start to the 2022-23 NBA season, but he will sit out for some of the action due to an injury. After aggravating a tendon in his right foot, it is anticipated that it will take Harden one month to return to action.
On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers played the Washington Wizards, and the game ended with a score of 121-11. Harden finished the game with 24 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds, but he was injured during the game.
The Sixers’ season is already off to a lackluster start with a record of 4-6, and it’s going to get even tougher for them moving forward because they won’t have James Harden for the foreseeable future. Harden’s performance this year has been highlighted by an average of 22 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds per game.
The star guard will be out of action for the entirety of the month of November as a result of the estimated one-month timeline for recovery; however, he is expected to make his return to action sometime in the early part of December. Because of James Harden’s injury, the Philadelphia 76ers will have to place a greater emphasis on Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to carry the offensive load.
