Memphis Grizzlies star player Jaren Jackson Jr. is set to make his season debut against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Memphis Grizzlies are set to receive a huge boost when they will play the New Orleans Pelicans as their star player Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to make his season debut.
Jackson has recovered well from his injury and is set to play and help his team who reached the Western Conference Semi-Finals last season. Jackson is a very important player to the Grizzlies, and he has been missed heavily by them. He has averaged 15.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 204 regular-season games so far for the Grizzlies.
Jackson underwent surgery in June to repair a stress fracture that had developed in his foot, and he has been recovering from the procedure ever since. Given that Jackson hasn’t taken part in a legitimate game since the playoffs of the previous season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him need some time to get back into the swing of things.
He finished the previous season as a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year, besides being named to the All-Defensive First Team. He is widely regarded as one of the most effective defensive big men in the league. The Grizzlies, who are currently 9-5 will benefit massively from the return of Jaren Jackson Jr.
