Nikola Jokic, the reigning, two-time NBA MVP will be signing a huge max extension with the Denver Nuggets. He will sign a five-year, $264 million supermax contract extension with the Denver Nuggets. This will be the biggest contract in the history of the NBA.

Jokic certainly deserves to get paid this much. He has won the MVP award in the last two seasons, and last year he led his team to the playoffs without his two co-stars Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

The Denver Nuggets are looking to keep their three stars for the long term. The trio of Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic is special, and they have the potential to win the first NBA title for the franchise.

Nikola Jokic, and the Denver Nuggets will be title contenders next season

Nikola Jokic was able to terrorize the whole league alone for the past two years. He will have his co-stars back next season. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. will be healthy.

As a result, the Denver Nuggets will be a title contender. We all saw what Jamal Murray was capable of in the playoffs two seasons ago. Since then, Jokic and MPJ have gotten a lot better. They also have Aaron Gordon and KCP who will provide depth to their team.

Even though they aren’t the favorites to win a championship, they definitely will be in the mix for it, and we can see them going a long way next season.
