The Los Angeles Lakers won their fourth game of the season as they dominated the Detroit Pistons and are now 4-10 to start the season. The Lakers were still without the services of LeBron James, who is still recovering from his injury.
Like in the last game against the Brooklyn Nets, Anthony Davis showed up and put up a big performance. He scored 38 points while recording 16 rebounds and two assists as well. Austin Reaves and Lonnie Walker IV also continued to perform well as Schroder and Thomas Bryant made their season debut against the Pistons.
Although Russell Westbrook didn’t have a great game while shooting the ball, he contributed with 12 assists and he has been helpful for this team since coming off the bench. Nick Wright saw some bright spots from the Lakers in their win over the Pistons and had some words to say about them.
After the win over the Pistons, Nick Wright said, “Now, if the Lakers can get keep AD at this level, get LeBron back and, most importantly, never play Patrick Beverley another minute, maybe they can make some noise.”
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the San Antonio Spurs up next on Sunday night and LeBron James will be expected to make his return from the abdominal injury that he suffered against the Clippers.
