Dallas Mavericks star player Luka Doncic believes Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the best duo in the league currently.
The Boston Celtics recently defeated the Dallas Mavericks 125-112, but it was a night where three-star players showed up and performed quite well for their respective teams. Boston had two stars on their team and that is why they were able to come away with a win.
Luka Doncic scored 42 points while recording 9 rebounds and 8 assists, but his effort wasn’t enough because the duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown came up with 37 and 31 points respectively. Tatum and Brown once again showed why they can lead this Boston team to a championship soon. Luka Doncic also reaped heavy praises about the Celtics duo ahead of the game.
Talking about the Celtics, Doncic said, “They’re probably the No. 1 team in the league, and they probably have the best duo in the league, too, Just watching their game, I think a lot of people can see that. I think the way they play. I know people try to separate them but they fit together, they went to the Finals last year, so I think those two are really great players.”
Luka Doncic would certainly love to form a duo of such kind in Dallas because so far he has been carrying this team. Both Spencer Dinwiddie and Christian Wood have performed well but they lack consistency, and if Dallas wants to win the championship, they’ll need to surround better players around Luka Doncic.
