The Golden State Warriors pour more misery over the Nuggets following Nikola Jokic’s ejection
The Golden State Warriors went 2-0 up in the first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. They continue to show that they are ready to make a championship run this season. The Nikola Jokic ejection was the story of the match, as the soon-to-be crowned MVP of the NBA was thrown out of the game by the Refs following his second technical foul.
Nikola Jokic was left frustrated with the way the officiating was being done in the game, as fouls were not being called upon on the players who were guarding him, primarily being Draymond Green.
The Nikola Jokic ejection gave away a strong indication to people around the world that no matter whether you are the MVP of the league if you go hard at the Refs then you will be thrown out of the game.
Jokic had no help, as the Warriors continued to pour misery over them, with the likes of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole having great games, and shooting the Nuggets out of the game.
The Golden State Warriors are 2-0 up in the series. They are starting to look like legit title contenders. And a spot in the 2nd round of the Western Conference playoffs seems very likely for them.
Can the Denver Nuggets fight back in this series?
The chances of the Denver Nuggets coming back in this series against the Warriors are almost impossible. Jokic alone can’t carry this team to a win against one of the best teams in the league.
The Nuggets will be without Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. throughout the playoffs, and without them beating the Warriors is no easy task for even the MVP of the league.
However, they should stay positive and think about the future because when those two will come back this Denver team is a legitimate contender for the Championship. As we saw 2 years ago what they are capable of in the bubble, where they went to the Western Conference Finals.
