LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered another horrific loss, while the Lakers star lost his shoe on the final play of the game.
The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 134-130, handing LeBron James and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers their 19th loss of the season. The outcome of the game was a disappointment for the Lakers, who put up a valiant effort to win but ultimately fell short to the Hornets, who prevailed.
LeBron James finished the game with 34 points, but on the final play of the game, he was unable to finish the game because he misplaced his shoe, and as a consequence, the Lakers were unable to win the game.
As expected, Skip Bayless did not refrain from making fun of the Lakers star and commented on the fact that he had lost his shoe as soon as the game was over.
Talking about LeBron James, Skip Bayless said, “I’VE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE: Down 2, LeBron drove it as he should have. Not sure whether he was about to shoot or pass. BUT HE THREW A SHOE! His left sneaker came completely off! Was it not tied tight enough? LeBron kicked to Schroder, who missed corner 3. Lakers lose.”
With this loss, the Lakers are now 13-19 and are continuously putting themselves in a tough position to make a push for the playoffs. Next up for them will be the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day where Luka Doncic will be waiting for them.
