Klay Thompson had a terrible night against the Phoenix Suns and also got ejected for the first time in his NBA career.
The Phoenix Suns blew out the Golden State Warriors and made a huge statement as they won the game by 134-105. Devin Booker was once again the star of the night for the Suns as he scored 34 points and continued his great start to this new season.
However, the highlight of the game was the ejection of Warriors star Klay Thompson. It was the first time in his NBA career that Klay Thompson got ejected, and he was involved in back-and-forth conversations with Booker. Klay Thompson didn’t have a good game against the Suns, and the frustration got to him, leading him to get two technical fouls and get ejected.
The Warriors didn’t play well against the Phoenix Suns and this could be an alarming sign for them. Their veteran players apart from Stephen Curry haven’t looked great so far, and if they are to repeat as the NBA Champions this season, things need to change.
Hopefully, their young stars will rise up to the occasion going forward, and Klay Thompson along with Draymond Green will also get better as they get more minutes under their belt.
