Who is NBA legend Michael Jordan currently married to – who is the former Chicago Bulls star’s wife?
Michael Jordan is one of the most celebrated basketball players in history. He has won numerous accolades and awards, including six NBA championships, five Most Valuable Player awards, and 10 scoring titles. However, his personal life has also been the subject of much interest, particularly his relationship with his wife, Yvette Prieto.
Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto first met in 2008 at a nightclub in Miami. At the time, Jordan was in the process of getting a divorce from his first wife, Juanita Vanoy. Prieto, who was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, was working as a model and had appeared in several magazines.
After dating for several years, Jordan and Prieto got engaged in December 2011. The couple tied the knot on April 27, 2013, in a lavish ceremony at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. The wedding was attended by over 500 guests, including famous athletes such as Tiger Woods and Patrick Ewing.
Jordan and Prieto have since welcomed two daughters, Victoria and Ysabel. The couple has been together for over a decade, and their relationship seems to be going strong.
Apart from his current marriage, Jordan has had a number of previous marriages.
Jordan has been married twice before. He was first married to Juanita Vanoy in 1989, and the couple had three children together: Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine. Jordan and Vanoy divorced in 2006, but they remained on good terms, with Jordan reportedly paying a $168 million settlement to Vanoy. Jordan was also briefly married to model and entrepreneur, Yvette Preito in 1985, but the marriage was annulled after just a few months.
Despite his previous marriages, Jordan seems to have found lasting love with Prieto. The couple has been spotted at various events together and seems to enjoy each other’s company. Jordan has also been very supportive of Prieto’s modeling career and has attended several of her fashion shows.
