Anthony Davis gave his views on the poor start to the season from the Los Angeles Lakers, and he thinks his team can turn things around.
Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers are off to a poor start this season, as they are 0-3 after three games. Their defensive effort has been quite good but on the offensive end, their struggles have continued to hurt them.
The Lakers don’t have quality shooters on their team, and due to it, they have been unable to knock down open shots. Other teams have benefited from Lakers’ struggles in shooting the ball, and as a result, they need to fix things quickly, or else they are bound to miss the playoffs.
Anthony Davis knows that his team hasn’t started the season as they had hoped for but still believes that they can turn things around. Davis has had a decent start to the season this year, and he will hope to continue it.
Talking about the Lakers’ poor start to the season, Anthony Davis said, “Obviously, there’s some sense of urgency. You don’t want to dig yourself too big of a hole. But we’ve got to stay even-keeled. We can’t get rattled or flustered and things like that. Just like if we win 12 in a row. We don’t want to get too high.”
He added, “We think all this ‘adversity’ is going to be good for us. We’re glad it’s happening in October and not March or April. But we’ll make shots, continue to defend how we’re defending and try to go in [Wednesday] and Friday and get a win.”
