Ben Simmons pointed out that only he is getting chirped on social media despite other players also missing shots.

Ben Simmons

During the earlier part of the preseason, Ben Simmons played his first game for the Brooklyn Nets. Simmons, who was acquired by the Brooklyn Nets from the Philadelphia 76ers last season in a trade, did not play a single minute for the 76ers due to various injuries and concerns that arose during the season.

Simmons made his long-awaited return to the court during the preseason but hasn’t been able to recapture the form that made him so successful in the past. However, head coach Steve Nash isn’t worried about that at all and thinks that Ben Simmons will be back to form in a short while, despite the fact that he needs some minutes under his belt in order to go back to his betting ways.

Recently a video of Ben Simmons went viral on social media in which he air-balled a shot in front of the fans, and the Nets star was quick to clap back at his critics who were speaking ill of him on the basis of that video.

Talking about the video, Simmons said, “There was a clip of me airballing a shot at the park. Meanwhile, like 10 guys airballed multiple shots…it’s like people will find one clip and try to make it that everything — like Ben can’t do [this or that]. Like come on man, you think I’m just airballing every shot?”

There is no denying the fact the trolls on social media love to go after Ben Simmons, and he is the player who is under the most pressure this season. Hopefully, he will get back to his all-star form with the Brooklyn Nets.
