NBA fans were quick to react after Golden State Warriors legend Steph Curry was on the cover of SLAM magazine.

Fans of Stephen Curry are so thrilled with his appearance in the newest issue of SLAM Magazine’s Night Night Celebration issue that they want it printed on a t-shirt. Additionally, SLAM wrote about how Curry has solidified his legacy

From every angle, champagne sprays were coming. Players shouted, danced, embraced, leapt about, drank, and smoked cigars. Champions, the Golden State Warriors. Again. It was time to rejoice back in the opposing locker room at TD Garden.

The legacy of Stephen Curry is established. Period.

If we’re being really honest, it had already been decided before he took the 2021–22 Warriors back to the top, just two seasons after they had the poorest record in the NBA. Long before he won his fourth ring and the Bill Russell Finals MVP award.

But this was the cherry on top, the last flourish, the exclamation point. Given everything the team has gone through over the last two years—losing, injuries, roster changes, and unrelenting criticism—as Curry himself put it, this victory “hits different.”
