Predicted 3-4-3 Wolves XI to face Huddersfield Town in the Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers put up a spirited display against Arsenal before the international break and Nuno Espirito Santo has every reason to be happy with his team’s performance in the 1-1 draw.

Wolves currently sit 11th in the Premier League standings and the new boys will be desperate to claim three points against bottom table side Huddersfield Town to give themselves a chance of creeping back into the top ten.

Huddersfield Town are 19th in the standings but the Terriers will be high on confidence after beating Fulham and drawing with West Ham in recent weeks.

According to Birmingham Live, Nuno Santo has confirmed that right-wing back Matt Doherty has recovered from his facial injury and will be fit to play on Sunday.

Meanwhile, left-wing back Jonny Otto Castro has been ruled out due to a tear in his knee cartilage.

1. Rui Patricio (GK)

The Portuguese veteran made some wonderful saves against Arsenal in the last game and has always been a reliable presence between the sticks.

3. Conor Coady (CB)

The former Liverpool man has been the leader of the backline and made some exceptional blocks against Arsenal in the previous game.

4. Willy Boly (CB)

His strength, aerial ability and tenacity are invaluable assets to Wolves’ backline.

The Irishman has been in red-hot form this season, contributing equally to both attack and defence and he will be expected to do the same on Sunday.

6. Ruben Neves (CM)

He has run the show in the midfield for Wolves with his work-rate, crisp passing and flawless distribution.

7. Joao Moutinho (CM)

The Portuguese veteran has put in consistently impressive performances in midfield alongside Neves and his experience and creativity are invaluable to a team like Wolves.

8. Ruben Vinagre (LWB)

The Portuguese U19 international has impressed in the Carabao Cup games and is likely to get his first start in the Premier League due to the injury to Jonny.
