Following its exclusive reveal at The Game Awards, The Game Awards posted a new trailer to YouTube for Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC Phantom Liberty, introducing Solomon Reed, a new character played by Idris Elba. This mysterious new character appears to be a master of espionage and survival, and Elba’s voiceover suggests that he will be a loyal ally to the protagonist.
Moreover, Reed is likely to encounter Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand, who is famously anarchic and hates the forces in control of Night City. In a brief interview with Idris Elba, the Hollywood star discusses Reed’s role in Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.

The story has not been fully explained and there is no information on which ending will be canonical after Cyberpunk 2077. Nevertheless, it has been confirmed that Idris Elba will portray Solomon Reed in Phantom Liberty. According to the developers, the character is the only person they can trust to assist them with a mission that is impossible.
The character is a veteran New United States of America agent. The expansion will have a new kind of storyline, according to Gabriel Amatengelo, the game’s director. It will occur in a neighborhood of Night City dubbed “Dogtown.”
