Daily Adventure Incense is a new feature in Pokemon Go that allows players to explore their surroundings. When activated, this new item causes more Pokemon to spawn for a limited time. Players who live in robust settlements or major cities have easy access to multiple PokeStops where they can earn items, gyms where they can battle, and spawns where they can catch Pokemon.

The game presents a conservation challenge for players living in more rural and remote areas. Many players do not have access to PokeStops where they can earn Poke Balls or meet Pokemon in the wild. This is why there is new Pokemon GO daily adventure incense in the game. Daily Adventure Incense lasts for 15 minutes, and it only works while you are actively moving. Pokemon GO is adding a new Incense–Daily Adventure Incense. When you activate it, you’ll see Pokemon you may not normally find in the wild. Trainers across the planet can enjoy Daily Adventure Incense no matter where they live. Over the coming week, gamers will continue to get Daily Adventure Incense.

How to activate Daily Adventure Incense

In order to activate Daily Adventure Incense, you will need to locate it in your Item Bag or tap the icon in the upper right corner of the game map. You can use the Daily Adventure Incense by swiping on it. A blue fog will surround your avatar while it is being used. The daily adventure Incense will no longer be in your item bag after usage until the following day. 

The total number of items you can retain in your Item Bag does not include Daily Adventure Incense. As long as you are moving, wild Pokemon will be attracted to your location when the Daily Adventure Incense is active.

Bonus Tips

• Daily Adventure Incense will reward you with 30 Poke Balls if you have less than or exactly 30 Poke Balls, Great Balls, or Ultra Balls.
• You won’t get any more Poke Balls if your total number of Poke Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls exceeds 30.
• The Daily Adventure Incense recap shows all the Pokemon you catch during the 15 minutes it is active, and you can share it with friends.
• Activating Daily Adventure Incense will not allow you to activate another Incense at the same time. The reverse will also apply: activating another Incense will not allow you to activate Daily Adventure Incense. It is necessary to complete the associated Special Research in order to use Daily Adventure Incense. The Special Research rewards XP as well as teaches you how to use Pokemon Go Daily Adventure Incense.
