New Wiglett Pokemon has been announced for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here is everything you need to know about it.
It looks like Wiglett, a Paldean spin on Diglett, will be added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet this November. Wiglett is long and white and enjoys hanging out at the beach. Despite the fact that Wiglett appears to be a different species, society members have compared it to a localized Diglett.
During a faux Zoom call between members of the World Ecological Pokemon Society, Wiglett was revealed as part of a presentation by Jacq, the player’s homeroom teacher, on the Paldean region, as a part of the presentation. The video shows a variety of Paldean Pokemon and biomes, including the Paldean Wooper, a newcomer. To know more details about Pokemon Wiglett Pokemon, read till the end.
New Wiglett Pokemon and others announced
While giving fans a glimpse into the overworld of the games, the presentation features several Pokemon from the area, including Krokorok, Diglett, and the Paldean form of Wooper. As a result of its distinct differences from Diglett, Wiglett Pokemon is more than just a regional form, according to the “scientists” attending the survey.
It is reported that these have a lot of similarities to previously known species, but they are somehow entirely unrelated and even possess their own Pokédex number. According to leaks, that would make it a Convergent Pokemon. It differs from regional forms, which often look dissimilar to the originals with different elemental typings, yet share the same Pokédex entry.
It is unclear why or how Diglett will have a Convergent species in the games, but these leaks indicate Diglett would be the only Pokemon to have one. Several gimmicks are said to be included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which are updated each generation.
Different Species
We already told you that several gimmicks are said to be included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In this regard, Convergent, Ancient, and Future Pokemon species are included, although it is not yet clear how they work in-game.
The Convergents are entirely new species based on previously known creatures, whereas the Ancient and Future are said to have traveled from the past or future as descendants or ancestors of current monsters. According to leaks, they do not evolve, but they do have high stats.
So this is everything you needed to know about Wiglett Pokemon and all the other species.
